Our Company

People of color have served in every military endeavor since America's beginnings.
Black shero warrior women share a legacy that stretches across the millennia.
The life stories of these unsung sheroes have largely been silent even in the communities
 from which they came.

Acknowledging the challenges and joys of military service gives voice and visibility to
the rich legacy and history of Sister Soldiers whenever and where she served .
Initial activities of the Sister Soldier Network will identify and record the service of
Black Women Veterans, offer informational sessions about and for women veterans
and develop collaborations with faith based community organizations to build bridges
that mobilize, engage and support health and well-being of military families and veterans.
